Many things she thinks she likes
Like playing dolls and riding bikes
But yellow fields of goldenrods
Are places where she seldom trods
Canines are her closest friends
I hear her whine when she pretends
Puppies, foxes, coyote’s too
She’ll wag her tail and bark for you
She also likes to ride her horse
Around the yard and grass, of course
I always like to take the chance
To sit and watch my cowgirl prance
She always likes to take some time
To listen to a nursery rhyme
And when the stars are in the sky
I’ll sing her favorite lullaby
