I hope you take some time this Fourth of July to thank a veteran for his or her service to our country. Our security comes only through their sacrifice. This is an important concept to teach to our children. They need to understand that what we hold dear is seldom held without some cost. You can’t teach this concept like you might teach math or grammar. They will need to hear stories about sacrifices, or see sacrifices that you make. Then they will have a better appreciation of what freedom is. And not just our physical freedom. This is a perfect opportunity to teach them of the freedom that Christ gave us when he sacrificed all for us.
If you have a veteran you would like to send a card to, you can download the pdf and print it out. After printing, fold into four parts.

What a beautiful post and what a great reminder! Thanks so much!
Thanks for reading the post, I’m glad you enjoyed it!
